We are having fun first in order to lighten up to see the JOY in it all. Yes, while life can be a challenge at times, a cartoon just makes it a little easier to get by. We just hope to make you feel better, even smile or laugh with us as we make fun of the “seriousness” of life.

We create cartoons and graphic designs to use on products such as t-shirts, clothing, coffee mugs, and related novelty items. We produce greeting cards and adult and children’s cartoon books. We also offer a variety of freelance cartooning and graphic design solutions (See below).

We are currently working exclusively with JIM WHY…CARTOONS, but plans are in the works to collaborate with like-minded creatives to offer similar and complimentary unique products and services.

So, yes, we are me for now on the cartoon creative. And that’s me in the picture.

Cartooning has been a hobby of mine for many years. I have always dreamed of turning it into something more than a hobby and now I have the opportunity. And I’m running with it. I have done illustrations for books, sold several series of cartoons for business presentations, sold printed T-shirts, and even did editorial cartoons for a city version of the Orange County Register in CA. I once actually went so far as to make an array of large masks of cartoon characters and put a production together for Pasadena’s Doo Dah Parade. We protested the protest parade, and the TV announcer actually noted us as a unique presentation. It was an awesome complement. So, yes, I have a passion for this kind of fun.

Recently I had the opportunity to retire early from a successful career in operations management. However, I’m too young and have way too much energy to “retire” actually. So, I like to say I’ve retired into my bliss and am now devoting a serious effort to build on my creative interests which starts with JIM WHY…CARTOONS.

We are in business to have fun and to have fun with you. In addition to having cartoon/graphic design enhanced products available on this website, look for us around the Central Coast at various pop-up marketing events and perhaps at some local retailers.
